2026-2027 Circuit Overview

Boys

  • Jr. 3SSB will feature a hybrid format with Regional Series play and Open Qualifiers.
  • Teams may participate in either or both pathways.
  • Nationals bids can be earned by:
    • Earning an automatic bid through an Open Qualifier
    • Accumulating 350+ points during the season
  • Boys divisions: 11U–14U, with Gold and Silver levels.
  • Nationals
    • Boys: July 1–4 | Bryan, TX

Girls

  • A new points system will determine Nationals qualification and event seeding.
  • Girls divisions: 12U–14U, with Gold and Silver levels.
  • Teams must participate in at least one Open Qualifier to qualify for Nationals.
  • Points earned will help determine Nationals seeding.
  • Nationals
    • Girls: June 25–27 | Rock Hill, SC

Regions

  • West
  • PNW
  • South
  • Midwest
  • Northeast
  • Southeast

Boys Regional Series

  • Teams must compete adidas uniforms and apparel, and shoes – this includes players and coaches.
  • Each region features two mandatory Regional Qualifiers, with four set games per event.
  • Top teams based on points advance to the Super Regional.
  • Super Regionals are tournament-style events with automatic Nationals bids awarded to top finishers.
  • Teams must compete within one region for the entire Regional Series.
  • POINTS
    • Regional Qualifier Win: +100
    • Super Regional Win: +150
    • Super Regional Champion: +50 Bonus
    • Loss: 0

Open Qualifiers

  • Open Qualifiers are available to all teams, including teams participating in the Boys Regional Series.
    • BOYS
      • Gold Division finalists earn automatic Nationals bids.
      • Silver Division champions earn automatic Nationals bids.
    • GIRLS
      • Participation in an Open Qualifier qualifies your team for Nationals.
      • Results and points determine Nationals seeding.
    • POINTS
      • Win: +50
      • Division Champion: +25 Bonus
      • Loss: 0
