In an effort to elevate the 3SSB Circuit experience, we’ve made some revisions to our media criteria and
guidelines. 3SSB press credentials are granted to credible media representatives who have shown evidence that their attendance and/or coverage results in the elevation, promotion, and exposure of the student-athletes who participate on the 3SSB Circuit.
Videography
1) Videography must be conducted without disruption to event operations that include: the visibility of college coaches who are sitting court side, score keepers, security, high-traffic areas that become congested, or areas that mat be deemed as a safety concern.
2) Baseline footage – SPECIFICALLY – directly underneath the basket area, will not be permitted.
3) Videography captured and posted online via social media, website, etc. must include the updated 3SSB logo provided, and tagged w/ @3SSBCircuit social media handle.
4) If you are shooting for Ball is Life, OTE, SLAM Online, Sports Center Next, or any other major media outlet – confirmation by an individual who works directly for the company, should be provided to Nina Zavala via email no later than (3) days prior to the event date.
Photography
1) Photography WILL NOT be approved unless its accompanied by an editorial/published content assignment.
2) A letter of assignment from the media outlet, must be provided to Nina Zavala via email, no later than (3) days prior to the event date.
3) The assignment must be emailed to Nina Zavala, reviewed, and approved prior to publishing.
Editorial
1) Editorial content must be in the form of player interviews, player coverage, pre/post event coverage, or
promotion of the event itself.
2) Scouting Services – Unless you are a credible, NCAA approved Basketball Scouting Service, that produces a consistent report that is delivered to college coaches, in support of the players on our circuit – you WILL NOT be approved. This will be assessed case by case.
3) The editorial coverage CANNOT live behind a paywall, it must be free and accessible to the public.4) When posting editorial content on social media, please tag our social media platform(s) @3SSBCircuit and utilize our hashtag #3SSB
5) You will be given access to the 3SSB content media folder that is organized by club and divisions. This folder will consist of headshots, action photos, and video reels of players. We request that you utilize the content provided.
The guidelines above have been established to provide accredited media members the guidance and standards set forth for 3SSB Circuit Events. Any breach of these guidelines will be reviewed case by case and appropriate action will take place, including the withdraw of the credential for this event, or any future events. Any content published that may be deemed harmful to the players, 3SSB Circuit, and/or Adidas brand will call for an automatic ban from any and all ADIDAS EVENTS.
