2025 adidas Eurocamp Recap

Team 3SSB Select

3SSB’s best took the international stage this week as 15 of the circuit’s premier players made the trip halfway across the world to showcase their skills at the prestigious adidas Eurocamp, held at Ghirada La Città Dello Sport in Treviso, Italy, from May 31-June 2.

The trip began with a multi-day training camp in Milan, where a coaching staff comprised of current NBA assistants — Rex Kalamian (Milwaukee Bucks), Ross McMains (Boston Celtics) and Ty Abbott (Los Angeles Lakers) took the helm and guided “Team 3SSB Select” in preparation for three games in Treviso.

In addition to several practices, the players enjoyed plenty of cultural immersion on their journey across the Italian region of Veneto prior to tipping off in their first game vs. Next Gen Select, a team filled with some of the best young talent in Europe.

Despite the high-level competition, 3SSB Select set the tone early and never looked back, winning 107-86. Five players scored in double-figures, led by Colben Landrew (Game Elite), who scored 15 points in just 15 minutes on the floor. Caleb Holt (Game Elite) filled the stat sheet, himself, producing 13 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 steals. Deron Rippey, Jr. (New Heights) chipped in 12 points, dished out 8 assists and snagged 4 steals. Rounding out the top performers, Bo Ogden (ASAK Elite) connected on four triples and Taylen Kinney (Wildcat Select) scored from multiple levels en route to a 11-point, 5-rebound, 2-assist effort.

Game two brought the tough task of matching up against players several years older, and despite falling behind 12-3 early in the first quarter, 3SSB Select proceeded to go on a 30-10 run and ultimately held off “Eurocamp 1” for a 96-81 victory. Landrew again paced the team in scoring (21 points), Holt notched a double-double (19 points, 11 rebounds), Rippey thew down an ESPY-worthy dunk and finished with 16 points, 5 assists and 3 steals, and the youngest player on the team — and one of the youngest players in the camp — Bruce Branch III (Compton Magic) came off the bench and scored 12.

This set the stage for a championship game tilt against “NBL Next Stars.” In what quickly turned out to be the biggest test of the tournament for 3SSB Select, Holt (19 points, 6 boards, 3 assists, 3 steals) and Landrew (13 points, 6 boards, and a steal) combined for 32 points, while some timely plays from Anthony Thompson (Indiana Elite) who contributed 12 points on 4/4 shooting, along with four more threes from Ogden (15 points) proved to be enough to get it done, as 3SSB Select won the 2025 adidas Eurocamp championship 84-77, making history in the process as the first U.S.-based team to do so.

The 3SSB squad notably turned over opponents a cumulative 65 times in the three games, successfully executing Kalamian’s marching orders for the week, to “pressure the ball 94 feet for 40 minutes.”

Following the final buzzer on Championship Monday, the following 3SSB Select players won awards:

  • Camp MVP: Caleb Holt
  • Finals MVP: Bo Ogden
  • Rising Star: Bruce Branch III
  • All-Camp Team: Deron Rippey, Jr.

adidas Eurocamp is much more than just nine games over three days: longtime NBA staffer and player development guru Bill Bayno serves as the event’s Coaching Director, and each morning of camp included multiple hours of instruction and an opportunity to immediately apply the teaching points made by the entire camp staff, all of which have extensive NBA coaching experience.
