2026 ADIDAS 3SSB SESSION II RECAP

May 2026

The second weekend of the 2026 3SSB season has concluded, with Session II taking place in Mishawaka, Indiana at the Mishawaka Fieldhouse. Programs from across the United States gathered and faced off during the live period, with hundreds of college coaches in attendance. There were countless standout performances throughout the weekend, including the following 15 prospects who established themselves as names to know ahead of Session III in Bryan, TX.

Kamsi Awaka | 6-10 Big | 2027 | New Heights 17U

The high-motored big, Kamsi Awaka, showed the ability to be a play-finisher off of teammate creation, running lanes effectively for transition dunks and battling through contact on duck-in finishes at the rim. He also fought for putbacks on the offensive glass. The 6-foot-10 big also flashed the ability to step out and shoot it from the perimeter, knocking down four three-pointers over the weekend. Defensively, he guards with intent and is trusted to switch onto perimeter players despite being a big. He blocked a handful of jumpers throughout, displaying the ability to recover and get out to shooters. He also altered and deflected numerous shots at the rim, rotating over on drives from the weak-side. On the weekend, Awaka averaged 16.0 PPG, 5.5 RPG, and 4.3 BPG.

Javon Bardwell | 6-8 Wing | 2027 | Compton Magic 17U

An above-the-rim athlete who can flush dunks with ease, Javon Bardwell possesses quick straight-line speed and excels when he can get out in transition to slash and use his athleticism. He is a crafty driver with an array of moves to get downhill and creates his own offense. He also showed the ability to hit tough runners in the lane. Additionally, he generated a lot of fouls and put the defense in a real bind, averaging 8.0 FTA per game. He also flashed some upside defensively at the point-of-attack, using his tools and agility to stay in front of drivers. Bardwell also contributed on the glass, both on the offensive and defensive sides of the floor. Across three games, the explosive wing averaged 23.7 PPG, 8.7 RPG, 3.3 APG, 1.3 SPG, and 1.0 BPG.

D’Ari Bruce | 6-3 Guard | 2029 | Team Lillard 16U

A dominant physical presence for his age, D’Ari Bruce uses his shoulders to drive through defenders and flashed some acrobatic finishing ability, including spin finishes at the rim. There’s some real upside with Bruce as a cutter, too, considering his finishing package and frame to handle contact. He also displayed some shotmaking ability from deep, while mixing in fun passing flashes off the bounce. With his size + skillset, Bruce also displayed the ability to play both on and off the ball. An intriguing long term prospect to track who averaged 12.8 PPG, 1.5 RPG, 2.0 APG, and 0.5 BPG while playing up across four games.

Grayson Burton | 6-5 Guard | 2028 | Tennessee Impact 16U

A broad-shouldered wing with solid positional size, Grayson Burton is a three-level scorer with a confident, compact shooting stroke that he gets off quickly, and can also be utilized as a movement shooter. His shooting gravity allows him to attack closeouts and straight-line drive. He has some mid range creation to his game as well, while showing playmaking craft with no-look passes to manipulate the defense. Burton scored at a high clip, averaging 22.8 PPG across four games, while shooting 52.4 percent from the field (33-63 FG) and 43.8 percent from three (14-32).

The Michigan native impressed over the weekend with his diverse scoring arsenal. He shoots a soft ball from deep with smooth mechanics and touch, drifting to open space and staying shot-ready for open attempts. He separates from defenders with side-steps as an off-the-dribble shotmaker from distance and can also get to his mid-range pull-up when attacking sloppy closeouts. To illustrate how well he can shoot it, he went for 27 against Team Lillard, converting 7-of-10 three-point attempts in the process. For Session II, Cabana averaged 17.0 PPG, 2.3 RPG, 1.5 APG, and 2.3 SPG, while shooting 49.1 percent from the field (26-53) and 48.0 percent from three (12-25).

Kingston Hunt, a speedy guard, keeps his foot on the gas – applying pressure as a scorer at multiple levels. He routinely touches the paint with his quickness, where he can use floaters and layups to evade rim-protectors. He’s also a threat in ball screens as a scorer due to his pull-up shooting repertoire, while showing range on his jumper. When isolating against defenders, he uses side-steps to create space for his pull-up from three. He also has soft touch from deep and is used as a movement shooter in baseline out of-bounds situations. He’s also a pesky point-of-attack defender, leveraging his quick hands and feet to disrupt ball-handlers. During Session II, he averaged 19.0 PPG, 2.3 RPG, 2.3 APG, and 1.0 SPG across four games.

Parker McDaniel | 6-4 Guard | 2028 | Southern Assault 16U

Where Parker McDaniel hangs his hat is as a perimeter sniper, excelling as a three-point threat. He has a quick trigger and knocks down spot-up and movement jumpers at a high rate. His shooting prep is the reason for his success, as he squares himself to the rim and has repeatable, smooth mechanics. When run off the line, the 6-foot-4 guard can get to his pull-up in the mid-range with rhythm and pace. Defensively, he’s disciplined and engaged, sliding his feet to stay in front of ball-handlers, while being attentive off the ball. Over the weekend, he averaged 21.5 PPG, 2.3 RPG, 1.5 APG, 0.8 SPG, and 0.3 BPG. He converted 54.5 percent of his attempts from the field (30-55), a ridiculous 57.1 percent of his three-point attempts (16-28), and 90.9 percent of his free-throw attempts (10-11).

He also flashed some mid-range shotmaking ability from the mid-post and off the dribble. Further, he stood out with his presence on the glass, using his active motor and soft hands to snatch boards in traffic. He plays bigger than his listed size and plays with a sense of physicality. His defensive playmaking was on display, as well, jumping passing lanes and blocking shots. Overall, it was a productive weekend for Mohler, as he averaged a well-rounded 21.3 PPG, 10.0 RPG, 1.3 APG, 1.8 SPG, and 1.5 BPG.

Jordan Page | 6-6 Guard | 2027 | Garner Road 17U

An explosive athlete who can play above the rim, Jordan Page balances his elite natural tools with a multi-faceted skillset. He possesses a refined mid-range scoring package, using shoulder bumps to separate, making difficult pull-up jumpers look easy. His shot-creation ability popped in Mishawaka, as he was a natural getting to his spots and generating his own offense. He can also keep the defense honest from 3, and gets good elevation on his jumper. He made some sound passing reads to the open man in transition, as well. On the weekend through four games played, the lefty averaged 17.5 PPG, 6.0 RPG, 2.3 APG, 0.8 SPG, and 0.8 BPG.
