The third session of the 2026 3SSB season concluded over the weekend in Bryan, Texas. The event was held at the Legends Event Center, where programs from across the nation gathered to play in front of hundreds of college coaches. There were a handful of teams that separated themselves across the three age groups. In the 15U division, three teams went undefeated (6-0): Indiana Elite (IN), New Heights (NY), and Team Loaded (VA). In 16U, there were five teams that finished with only one loss: Atlanta Celtics (GA), Austin Rivers Southeast Elite (FL), California Gold (CA), New Heights (NY), and Dream Vision (CA). Lastly, in the 17U age group, Indiana Elite (IN) separated themselves from the pack, finishing a perfect 6-0 on the week. Additionally, seven 17U teams finished 5-1 in Bryan: Austin Rivers Southeast Elite (FL), Breakaway Basketball (IL), Game Elite (GA), Midwest Basketball Club (OH), New Heights (NY), New World (DC), and Upward Stars (SC).

There were plenty of standout individual performances across the four-day event in Texas, including quite a few names that have been covered in previous Session Recaps – however, the following group includes 15 new names who established themselves as ones to know ahead of 3SSB Palmetto Road Championship week in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Marcus “MJ” Boyd, Jr. | 6-3 Guard | 2028 | 99OVR 16U

A smooth operator as a lead guard, MJ Boyd stood out with his scoring and playmaking throughout Session III. He plays with pace and operates comfortably at different speeds, keeping the defense off balance. He scores it from multiple levels, too, picking on smaller guards in the post or getting past slower matchups as a driver, while also using his advanced pull-up game both from three and in the mid-range. He leverages his scoring gravity well to create looks for teammates. In total, he continued to build on a strong spring and averaged 19.7 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 5.0 APG, and 1.3 SPG in Bryan.

K’Nard Callendar | 6-8 Forward | 2027 | MBJ Elite 17U

A mobile and explosive forward, K’Nard Callendar displayed his versatility game in and game out. On the offensive end, he scored it from multiple levels and used his size to his advantage. He routinely exploited switches, finishing over the top of smaller defenders in the post. He also ran the floor and finished plays at the rim, while flashing his ability to step out and knock down threes as a spot-up/pick-and-pop threat. He was a presence on the offensive glass, too, crashing hard and finishing second-chance opportunities. Defensively, Callendar was active, flashing his upside as a defensive playmaker due to his instincts and athleticism. Over the weekend, he averaged 16.3 PPG, 7.8 RPG, 2.0 APG, 1.5 SPG, and 2.0 BPG (tied for #2 in 17U), while knocking down 35 percent of his triples (7-20).

Maurice Carter II | 6-0 Guard | 2028 | Compton Magic 16U

A confident, hard-nosed guard, Maurice Carter II had multiple standout performances over the weekend. He dropped 27 points vs. Indiana Elite, and against Brookwood Lu Dort Elite, he finished with 32, including six threes. He excelled as a shotmaker in Texas, converting 43.8 percent of his attempts from distance (14-32). He also gets to the rack with regularity, thanks to his straight-line speed, while being disruptive defensively due to his quick feet and toughness. Overall, he averaged 19.3 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 2.3 APG, and 1.0 SPG throughout Session III.

Jashawn Coffey | 6-1 Guard | 2028 | Phenom United 16U

The sturdy guard out of Ohio was efficient offensively through 6 GP, shooting 49.5 percent from the field and 40.5 percent from three-point range. He found success both getting downhill and from deep, using soft touch from multiple levels to manufacture points for his team. He’s fearless while attacking the paint, willing to take contact on his way to the basket. His motor runs high on both ends, as he’s an assertive guard who plays with passion. Additionally, he impacts the game on the glass and is a capable creator for teammates. On the weekend, he averaged 21.5 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 2.3 APG, and 1.3 SPG.

Dean Dohrmann | 6-0 Guard | 2029 | Open Gym Premier 15U

A talented shotmaker, Dean Dohrmann scored at a high clip in Texas. He’s a lethal shooter with consistent shot prep and balance, with the ability to knock down jumpers off the catch or off the dribble. He uses step-backs to separate from defenders, and possesses deep range. If he’s run off the line, he can get to his pull-up in the mid-range or use floaters over the top of the defense. While in Bryan, he shot 51.2 percent from the field (41-80), 48.0 percent from three (24-50), and 80.0 percent from the free-throw line (20-25). He averaged 21.0 PPG, 2.0 RPG, 1.0 APG, and 0.8 SPG, while tying for #1 across all age groups in 3PM per game (4.0).

Jeremiah Evans | 6-9 Big | 2028 | Anthony Edwards Five 16U

A lanky and productive big man out of Georgia, Jeremiah Evans was a double-double machine in Session III. He’s impactful on the glass, using his length and size to snatch boards on either end. Offensively, Evans can put it on the deck and drive past slower matchups, and he’s also comfortable operating out of the dunker spot. He adds value by adding possessions for his team and creating second-chance points, putting a lid on the rim as an offensive rebounder. On the defensive end, Evans makes his mark as a rim-protector, using his length and size to alter and block shots. In total through 7 GP, he averaged 21.1 PPG, 10.7 RPG (5.9 ORPG), 0.3 APG, 0.6 SPG, and 2.1 BPG.

Colt Fowler | 5-10 Guard | 2027 | Upward Stars 17U

A shifty guard and an incredibly gifted passer, Colt Fowler excelled in creating offense for teammates – something he’s continued to do all spring. His speed and vision are a potent combination, as he picks apart defenses with his pace and craft. The South Carolina native has a diverse passing arsenal, and manipulates the defense with his eyes, using no-look passes or misdirection to deliver passes on the money. He ended up leading all of 3SSB with 6.8 APG in Bryan. Additionally, he scored it with high-glass finishes at the rim, while knocking down some jumpers from the perimeter. He was disruptive defensively, too, leading the 17U age group with 2.3 SPG. Across 6 GP, he averaged 14.3 PPG. 3.3 RPG, 6.8 APG, and 2.3 SPG.

Brandon Hahn | 6-7 Forward | 2027 | Lakeshow 17U

The skilled, hard-nosed forward out of California stood out with his shotmaking and toughness over the weekend. Brandon Hahn shoots an effortless ball, while displaying deep range on his jumper. He also guards multiple positions, built with the strength to defend up the lineup and snag rebounds in traffic. He had a 38-point outburst in a win over ETG Midwest (IA). Throughout Session III, he averaged 20.7 PPG (fifth in 17U), 7.0 RPG, and 2.2 APG, while leading his team to a 4-2 record.

Dwane Lind | 6-2 Guard | 2028 | Slow Grind Elite 16U

A scoring guard out of Washington, Dwane Lind led the 16U age group in scoring, averaging 22.6 PPG in Bryan. He displayed an impressive scoring arsenal, both as a shooter and crafty slasher. He shoots a soft ball from distance, especially when he can set his feet in spot-up situations. Thanks to his shooting touch, he can punish opponents with his pump-fake, where he loves getting to his floater. He converted quite a few of these, while also finishing some tough finishes at the rim. Not only did he score a ton, but he did so on great efficiency, shooting 54.5 percent from the field (61-112), 46.5 percent from three (20-43), and 84.2 percent from the free-throw line (16-19).

Isaiah Mack-Russell | 6-5 Wing | 2027 | Indiana Elite 17U

An athletic, developing wing out of Ohio, Mack-Russell has made significant progress as a shooter over the past year. In Session III, he excelled as a shotmaker, converting 44.4 percent of his three-point attempts (12-27). Not only was he knocking down triples, but he applied his usual rim pressure, yielding trips to the free-throw line and easy buckets at the basket. His athletic traits really pop when he’s attacking downhill, as his explosiveness and speed are two of his differentiators. However, most notably, his Indiana Elite (IN) squad finished undefeated on the weekend, going 6-0 overall. He finished the session with averages of 18.7 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 0.5 APG, and 0.5 SPG.

Ayden McClinton | 6-2 Guard | 2029 | 99OVR 15U

A polished young guard, Ayden McClinton got going as a multi-level scorer in Session III. He generates points from all over the floor and has a knack for creating his own offense. He can keep defenders off balance with his pull-up game in the mid-range, finish plays at the rim, or knock down jumpers from range. He possesses great touch from three-point land, but can also leverage his range shooting to blow past opponents to create for teammates, as well. He capitalizes on advantages, picking his spots to look for his own or to dish to open teammates. In Session III, he averaged 22.2 PPG, 4.8 RPG, 3.3 APG, and 2.0 SPG. He was incredibly efficient, shooting 54.1 percent from the field (46-85), 47.1 percent from three (16-34), and 89.3 percent from the free-throw line (25-28).

Julian Sam | 6-8 Wing | 2029 | Phenom United 15U

The smooth shooting wing out of Ohio, Julian Sam continued to display his massive upside with his new team. He showed his ability to put up points in bunches, especially stretching the floor at an elite rate. Over the weekend, Sam averaged 3.7 3PM per game, which was tied for third across all age groups. He has a silky smooth release with deep range and does not lack confidence. He shoots the ball with good rhythm and touch, while maintaining balance and positioning on his landings. He does damage in transition as a finisher and as a straight-line driver in the halfcourt, as well. He finished Session III with an impressive 18.3 PPG, 5.7 RPG, 1.3 APG, 1.0 SPG, and 1.0 BPG.

Aiden Shaw | 6-1 Guard | 2028 | California Gold 16U

Aiden Shaw is an underrated, high IQ guard and the conductor of Cali Gold’s offense, regularly generating quality looks for himself and teammates. He plays at his own speed in the half-court, maintaining his cool even amidst traffic and finding open teammates with his superb court vision. In transition, he looks to hit ahead and get easy looks for his rim runners. As a scorer, Shaw shoots a very soft ball from deep, and when run off the line, he has a variety of finishes in his bag to convert closer in. He also blows plays up on defense, getting in the gaps and racking up steals and deflections. Over the weekend, Shaw averaged a well-balanced 20.1 PPG, 6.1 RPG, 2.7 APG, 2.6 SPG, and 1.3 BPG.

Karson Stoudemire | 6-3 Guard | 2029 | Indiana Elite 15U

A tough slasher and high-motor creator, Karson Stoudemire displayed his natural tools and physicality over the weekend. His impact was felt on both ends of the floor, proving his value as a two-way prospect. Offensively, Stoudemire puts pressure on the rim with his strong frame and relentless slashing ability. He capitalizes on paint touches as a playmaker, dishing the ball to open shooters on the perimeter. On D, he has the strength and athleticism to defend across the perimeter, paired with the physicality to guard up the lineup on switches, offering his team some real versatility. His explosiveness and motor also contribute to his value as a positional rebounder. Over 6 GP in Bryan, the talented guard averaged 16.3 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 2.3 APG, 2.0 SPG, and 0.5 BPG.

Alex Weaver | 5-11 Guard | 2029 | BABC 15U

Session III’s leading scorer amongst all age groups, Alex Weaver was simply dynamic as a creator, piling on points in every game. He applies pressure as a slasher, using long strides and finishes off either foot at the rim. He shines in transition, where he’d frequently come up with steals, turn D into O, and then take advantage of one-on-one matchups on the break with his finishing package. He’s difficult to cover in the half-court, as well, using change of pace and crossovers to create space and get to his spots. He also displayed the ability to knock down jumpers from multiple levels. Overall, he averaged a whopping 27.0 PPG, 3.1 RPG, 5.4 APG, and 2.1 SPG on 49.3 percent shooting from the field (70-142).
