The Jr. 3SSB All-American Camp West brought together a talented group of prospects August 29-30 at OGP Ladera in Ladera Ranch, California, with players from the 8th through 5th grade divisions competing throughout the weekend.
The camp provided an opportunity to evaluate players in a competitive setting while also featuring King of the Court and 3 Point Shooting competitions. Selassie Trahan-Castillo and Koi Rhea earned Most Outstanding Player honors, while Caleb Johnson and Elijah Byrd were named MVPs.

Selassie Trahan-Castillo | 2030 | 6’4″ | Spanaway, WA
21.0 PPG, 9.3 RPG, 3.5 APG, 1.8 SPG, 2.5 BPG
Trahan-Castillo is a strong, versatile left-handed player who impacts the game inside while also creating from the perimeter. He uses a quick first step to attack, creates opportunities for teammates and makes his presence felt on the glass. His combination of size, skill and production stood out throughout camp, earning him Most Outstanding Player honors.

Aiden Johnson | 2030 | 5’10” | Inglewood, CA
11.3 PPG, 8.3 RPG, 3.8 APG, 4.3 SPG
Johnson is an athletic guard who consistently puts pressure on the defense with his ability to attack the basket and finish in transition. He creates opportunities for teammates and brings excellent activity defensively, where his athleticism and instincts allow him to disrupt opposing guards. His impact on both ends earned him Outstanding Performer honors.
Braeden Schiller | 2030 | 6’2″ | Corona, CA
18.5 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 2.3 APG, 2.0 3PM
Schiller is a fast, high motor guard who impacts the game in a variety of ways. He attacks and finishes around the basket, sees the floor well and creates opportunities for teammates while contributing on the glass. His pace, production and all-around activity earned him Outstanding Performer honors.
Kyle OConnor | 2030 | 6’2″ | El Cajon, CA
14.8 PPG, 9.3 RPG, 5.3 APG, 2.0 3PM
OConnor is a skilled ball handler who combines quickness and control with the ability to create for himself and others. He contributes on the glass, competes defensively and can make an impact as a perimeter scorer. His all-around production and playmaking earned him Outstanding Performer honors.
Von Herzog | 2030 | 5’10” | Phoenix, AZ
12.3 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 2.5 APG, 1.8 SPG, 2.0 3PM
Herzog is a skilled floor general with a strong combination of ball handling, court vision and scoring ability. He has good burst off the dribble, can knock down shots from three and finishes with either hand while creating opportunities for teammates. His overall guard play earned him Outstanding Performer honors.
Wyatt Williams | 2030 | 6’5″ | Encinitas, CA
19.3 PPG, 11.5 RPG
Williams is a high motor forward who consistently competes around the basket and makes a major impact on the glass. He moves well for his size, uses his body effectively to finish in the painted area and brings strong activity on both ends of the floor. His production and physical presence earned him Outstanding Performer honors.

Rhea is a quick guard with a strong first step and the confidence to consistently put pressure on the defense. He creates off the dribble, shows good court awareness as a playmaker and can stretch the floor from three. His scoring and ability to create offense earned him Most Outstanding Player honors.

Tapley is an athletic guard who plays with an aggressive downhill mentality and consistently puts pressure on the defense. He uses his athleticism well when attacking and shows good touch when finishing in traffic. His physical approach and activity earned him Outstanding Performer honors.
Daniel Horev | 2031 | 6’5″ | Irvine, CA
17.8 PPG, 8.3 RPG, 1.8 APG, 1.0 BPG
Horev is a long, skilled forward who is comfortable handling the ball on the perimeter and can stretch the floor with his shooting. He is also effective around the basket and contributes on the glass, giving him the ability to impact the game from multiple areas of the floor. His versatility earned him Outstanding Performer honors.
Ej Marchezi Jr. | 2031 | 5’7″ | Sutton, MA
11.0 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 4.0 APG, 2.3 SPG
Marchezi is an aggressive guard who attacks the basket with purpose and looks to play through contact. He creates for teammates, brings activity defensively and consistently looks to put pressure on the defense. His ability to impact the game as a scorer and playmaker earned him Outstanding Performer honors.
Landon Hamm | 2031 | 5’9″ | West Hills, CA
12.8 PPG, 5.8 RPG, 2.0 SPG
Hamm is an athletic guard who uses his length and activity to impact the game on both ends of the floor. He stays active away from the ball, disrupts plays defensively and contributes on the glass. His energy and two-way presence earned him Outstanding Performer honors.
Zachary Lee | 2031 | 6’0″ | Irvine, CA
12.3 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 1.0 SPG
Lee is an active guard who competes defensively and looks to create turnovers with his quickness and anticipation. Offensively, he runs the floor well and is confident taking the open perimeter shot. His activity on both ends earned him Outstanding Performer honors.

Richmond is a good-sized, athletic guard who handles the basketball well and consistently puts pressure on the defense. Garibay has excellent size and provides a skilled presence around the basket. He shows good touch in the painted area, can operate effectively in pick-and-roll situations and has the ability to step away from the basket and provide additional floor spacing. His size and offensive versatility earned him Outstanding Performer honors.

Dalley is a smooth ball handler with good court vision who consistently sees the floor well. He is a skilled passer who creates opportunities for teammates and also showed his perimeter shooting ability by winning the 3 Point Shooting Contest.

Byrd is a long, smooth guard who uses his length effectively on both ends of the floor. He handles the ball comfortably, has the confidence to create his own offense and uses his length to cover ground defensively. His combination of size, skill and production earned him MVP honors.

Blacksher is a playmaking guard who looks to create offense both as a scorer and facilitator. He attacks with the ball in his hands, looks for opportunities to create for teammates and works to get back and match up defensively. His ability to generate offense earned him Outstanding Performer honors.
Jovi Catron | 2033 | 5’3″ | Eugene, OR
7.5 PPG, 3.0 RPG, 1.5 APG
Catron is a smart guard with good court vision and a strong feel for the game. He sees the floor well, can space the defense with his shooting and works hard on the glass to create extra possessions. His feel and overall floor game earned him Outstanding Performer honors.

Penn is a passionate guard with good court vision and a strong feel as a passer. He attacks the basket, creates opportunities for teammates and is a confident three-point shooter who can stretch the defense. His playmaking and perimeter shooting earned him Outstanding Performer honors.

Ford is a tough on-ball defender who applies pressure and competes hard on every possession. He handles the ball well, willingly moves it and can create opportunities for himself and teammates. His toughness and activity earned him Outstanding Performer honors.

Kanno is an aggressive offensive player who consistently looks to attack the basket.
