Jr. 3SSB All-American Camp West Girls: Camilla Poraj-Kuczewski, Melia Hom & Dakota Slater Earn Top Honors

The Jr. 3SSB All-American Camp West brought together a talented group of prospects August 29-30 at OGP Ladera in Ladera Ranch, California, with players from the 8th through 5th grade divisions competing throughout the weekend.

The camp provided an opportunity to evaluate players in a competitive setting while also featuring Queen of the Court and 3 Point Shooting competitions. Camilla Poraj-Kuczewski and Melia Hom earned Most Outstanding Player honors, while Dakota Slater was named MVP.

Most Outstanding Player

Camilla Poraj-Kuczewski | 2030 | 6’2″ | Boise, ID
23.0 PPG, 14.5 RPG, 3.0 APG, 3.0 SPG, 1.3 BPG

Poraj-Kuczewski is a smooth and composed player who plays with excellent control. She is patient with the ball, understands how to dictate the pace and consistently makes good decisions while finding opportunities to score or create for teammates. Her combination of size, production and feel stood out throughout camp, earning her Most Outstanding Player honors.

Giselle Monroe | 2030 | 5’10” | Chula Vista, CA
14.3 PPG, 7.0 RPG, 3.0 APG, 5.5 SPG

Monroe is a long guard who uses solid footwork when attacking the painted area. She reads the floor well, makes good decisions with the ball and is comfortable pushing in transition. Her ability to contribute as a scorer, rebounder and playmaker earned her Outstanding Performer honors.

Hannah Duenas | 2030 | 5’6″ | Granada Hills, CA
12.3 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 1.8 APG, 2.3 3PM

Duenas is a smooth ball handler who controls the pace and plays with poise. She stays engaged away from the ball and shows the ability to stretch the floor from the perimeter. Her steady guard play earned her Outstanding Performer honors.

Lexie Thompson | 2031 | 5’7″ | Orem, UT
14.8 PPG, 4.3 3PM

Thompson is a high-IQ guard with a strong combination of ball handling and perimeter shooting. She stretches the defense with her range and plays with good feel on the offensive end. Her shooting was a major weapon throughout the weekend and helped her earn Outstanding Performer honors.

Savana Moreno | 2030 | 5’4″ | South San Francisco, CA
13.5 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 2.8 APG, 2.0 SPG

Moreno is a well-rounded guard who stretches the defense with her shooting while also creating off the dribble. She sees the floor well and can create opportunities for teammates while remaining a scoring threat herself. Her versatility earned her Outstanding Performer honors.

Stella Hunt | 2031 | 6’0″ | St. George, UT
9.0 PPG, 7.8 RPG

Hunt provides a strong interior presence and does a good job establishing position in the painted area. She is active as a screener, contributes on the glass and gives her team a reliable presence around the basket. Her size and interior impact earned her Outstanding Performer honors.

Most Outstanding Player

Melia Hom | 2031 | 5’4″ | Castro Valley, CA
17.0 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 2.3 APG, 3.0 SPG, 2.0 3PM

Hom is a smooth left-handed guard and dynamic scorer who consistently plays in attack mode. She creates off the dribble, knocks down difficult perimeter shots and gets into the painted area to finish. Her ability to consistently generate offense made her one of the toughest covers at camp and earned her Most Outstanding Player honors.

Asianna Tatum | 2031 | 5’8″ | Anchorage, AK
12.8 PPG, 7.3 RPG, 2.8 APG, 2.3 SPG

Tatum has good size and a versatile offensive skill set that allows her to impact the game in multiple ways. She handles the basketball, sees the floor and can attack the painted area while also contributing on the glass. Her versatility and production earned her Outstanding Performer honors.

Hailey Rogers | 2031 | 6’0″ | Temecula, CA
8.5 PPG, 9.5 RPG, 2.3 APG

Rogers has excellent size and does a good job running the floor and creating opportunities in transition. She is a productive rebounder and uses her size effectively when finishing in the painted area. Her presence around the basket earned her Outstanding Performer honors.

Isabelle Mackenzie Chen | 2031 | 5’4″ | Honolulu, HI
5.0 PPG, 2.0 APG, 1.0 3PM

Chen is a smart guard who consistently makes good decisions with the basketball. She handles the ball well, finds teammates for quality looks and can contribute as both a scorer and facilitator. Her feel for the game earned her Outstanding Performer honors.

Lovely Pettiford | 2031 | 5’8″ | El Cajon, CA
6.5 RPG, 3.3 APG, 3.0 SPG

Pettiford uses her length well and is effective getting out in transition. She sees the floor, creates opportunities for teammates and contributes on the glass, giving her several ways to impact the game. Her activity and all-around play earned her Outstanding Performer honors.

Sylvie Roberts | 2031 | 5’5″ | Eagle Mountain, UT

Roberts is a capable perimeter shooter who provides floor spacing and can attack when defenders close out. She combines good shooting touch with the ability to put the ball on the floor and get into the painted area. Her offensive versatility earned her Outstanding Performer honors.

15.3 PPG, 19.5 RPG, 2.0 SPG, 1.5 BPG

Slater is a high-impact interior player with excellent size who consistently creates problems around the basket. She finishes effectively in the painted area and dominates the glass, giving her team a major presence inside. Her production throughout camp earned her MVP honors.

Mathis is an aggressive offensive player who consistently brings energy and competitiveness. She has good scoring touch and uses patient, controlled footwork to create space and finish in the painted area. Her scoring ability and activity earned her Outstanding Performer honors.

Salinas is a skilled guard who plays under control and can score in multiple ways. She creates shots off the dribble, has range beyond the three-point line and combines strong ball handling with good court vision. Her offensive skill set earned her Outstanding Performer honors.

Shipley is an aggressive guard who attacks the painted area and finishes with good touch. She is also a confident perimeter shooter who forces defenders to respect her range, which she showcased by winning the 3 Point Shooting Contest.

Amauri Britton | 2033 | 5’0″ | Pittsburg, CA

Britton plays with a strong motor and consistently brings energy to the floor. She contributes on the glass and does a good job pushing the ball ahead in transition to create scoring opportunities. Her activity and effort earned her Outstanding Performer honors.

Cyrene Taylor | 2033 | 5’4″ | Fairfield, CA

Taylor is a physical forward who provides a strong presence in the painted area. She rebounds well and shows good passing ability from the frontcourt, allowing her to create opportunities for teammates. Her physicality and feel earned her Outstanding Performer honors.

Korie Sandoval | 2033 | 5’4″ | Herriman, UT

Sandoval is a skilled guard with a strong handle who is comfortable playing with the basketball in her hands. She uses her ball handling to navigate the defense and create opportunities from the perimeter. Her guard skills earned her Outstanding Performer honors.

Lexi Oliver | 2033 | 5’2″ | Cedar City, UT

Oliver is a creative ball handler who uses her handle to get into the painted area. She shows the ability to create for herself while also playing with the feel to develop as a playmaker. Her creativity with the basketball earned her Outstanding Performer honors.

4.0 RPG, 1.3 SPG

Lyons is an aggressive wing who can stretch the floor with her shooting while also attacking the painted area with purpose. She plays with a physical style and uses her strength to put pressure on the defense. Her aggressive offensive approach earned her Outstanding Performer honors.
