The 2025 adidas 3SSB Girls Circuit is under a month from its first tip. The talent on the grassroots circuit this year is on a whole new level. A combination of new elite faces and familiar 3-Stripe talent has created the most anticipated season in recent memory.

This first of four parts looks at three new faces making the adidas 3SSB Circuit the most exciting place to play this spring and summer.

Kaleena Smith | 2027 | Perris, Calif. | 7 Days 3SSB

Ranking: 1st in Consensus Rankings
Key Honors: Gatorade State Player of the Year (2024-25), Naismith All-American 1st Team (2024-25)
What To Watch: Smith is an electric point guard who can beat you scoring at all three levels while also being in the conversation for best passer in the class. She’s battle tested and fun to watch.
Director’s Take: I expect Kaleena to be one of the best players in the circuit and represent. She should be one of the most gifted point guards across the country. – Aundre Cummings

Lauren Hassell | 2027 | Clarksville, Tenn. | Lady Phenom United 3SSB

Ranking: 11th in Consensus Rankings
Key Honors: Naismith Trophy All-American Underclass HM (2024-25), All Region Team (2024-25), 4x TSIAA MVP and State Champions.
What To Watch: Hassell embodies the new hybrid forward model with elite size paired with the ability to play inside or outside. Keep an eye out for her go-to spin move which at her size seems unguardable.
Director’s Take: I expect the world to finally see how good of a player Lauren Hassell is on the big stage. She is a well groomed future pro. – Richard Jeter

Bella Ragone | 2026 | Auburn, Ga. | Southeast All Stars 3SSB

Ranking: 23rd in Consensus Rankings
Key Honors: Naismith Trophy All-American HM (2024-25), All State 1st Team, Region Player of the Year
What To Watch: Ragone is a big guard, at 6-2, with elite shot-making ability. She’s a problem with her size and versatility and being a lefty just makes her a tough matchup.
Director’s Take: Ragone brings a positional versatility to the Southeast All Stars Black roster that few in the country can match. Her infectious energy and perimeter shot making will be major keys to our success this season. – Brandon Clay
